Embellished headline1
IN REFERENCE to the police report headed 'Teen bashed at fundraiser' in a recent edition of The Murray Pioneer (30/3/10), I would like to express my disappointment in your reporting of the incident.

IN MY 65 years I've never voted Liberal, or Labor for that matter.

Schapelle’s horror story3
SCHAPELLE CORBY'S on the cover of Woman’s Day again.

ON WEDNESDAY, July 7, while I was away from the region, my elderly mother had a major fall in front of Clarks Cellars in Barmera.

She was assisted by the shop manager and total strangers who comforted her until the ambulance arrived.
She said her treatment by the ambulance staff and Barmera Hospital staff was wonderful. She is now home with a few stitches and bruises but is on the mend.
On behalf of my dear mum and myself a huge thank you to all involved. It gives me piece of mind to know she was cared for and looked after so kindly. Well done.
